Villa de Cannelle \u00a0is located a in a rustic village named \u00a0 Pahalagama- Ellawala \u00a0 a few minutes from \u00a0 Eheliyagoda \u00a0 , a \u00a0 town \u00a0 which is famous for the gem stones that are produced in this area .

Ellawala ,is situated in the Ratnapura district which is \u00a0 a, economically and agriculturally important , land area \u00a0 of \u00a0 the \u00a0 Sabaragamuwa province, of Sri lanka. \u00a0

A major part of the land mass of this province is extensively cultivated with Tea ,rubber ,Cinnamon , other spices and \u00a0rice .

And is also historically famous for the beautiful and very valuable gemstones produced in the mines , which can be found in \u00a0 most of the lush green countryside.

The property is a working organic \u00a0cinnamon plantation, consisting of \u00a0150 acres ( 65 hectares). Organic agricultural methods , have been implemented and undertaken for the last 25 years , on this plantation, which \u00a0is the largest certified \u00a0 organic cinnamon plantation on the Island and is famous for the high grades of organic cinnamon \u00a0 produced .

Villa de Cannelle \u00a0 is \u00a0 a situated on the crest of a hill surrounded by \u00a0 lush cinnamon bushes and is gifted with wonderful views of the valley bellow. \u00a0The lawns and gardens around the Villa have been landscaped and consist of many varieties of fruit trees and other spices such as , pepper and cloves.

On a clear day , the Holy mountain, Adams peak can be seen , while you drink a cup of tea on the verandah of the Villa.

The Villa is \u00a0 the 60year old \u00a0 country house \u00a0 of the 5 th generation \u00a0 owners, of the Organic Cinnamon \u00a0plantation. \u00a0 It has been beautifully designed , and complimented with many beautifull pieces of antique furniture.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
